Introduction:

We are Anja Eleveld (associate professor social law, anja.eleveld@vu.nl) and Erik Wesselius (lecturer/researcher empirical legal studies, e.p.wesselius@vu.nl), both working at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, section social law.

On this page we present the first outcomes and trends from our qualitative research project on the experiences of solo self-employed platform workers in the hospitality sector.

These first outcomes are expected to be complemented in the upcoming period of time with, among others, additional interviews with managers in hospitality and a focus group with platform workers in hospitality.

Our research project is funded by NWO (XS), number 406.XS.01.087.
